community?
The SupplierDiversityWorks Online Community is designed to help you identify and find qualified diverse suppliers. These suppliers are proven, that is, referred by those in a community that you may know and trust, other supplier diversity/purchasing professionals and managers.
Who should join this
Community?
Supplier diversity/purchasing professionals, managers, and executives in corporate and government entities who are seeking to do more business with qualified diverse vendors. This is a closed community, that is, only those who fit those specific criteria will be allowed to join.
How does the SupplierDiversityWorks Online Community work?
After joining the SDW Online Community, you can post messages to diversitybiz@yourbusinessworks.com and we will compile and post your requests to all group members.
How do you define a
"diverse vendor"?
In general, we
use the same definition as promulgated by the federal government, that is
businesses
that
are at least 51 percent owned, managed, and controlled by one or more minority
or women
individuals, as noted below:

- Hispanic American
- Native American
- Asian-Pacific American
- Asian-Indian American
- Woman-Owned
- Disabled-Veteran
- Small-Disadvantaged
